Your questions, answered
Short answers to the four things people actually ask.

Do I need an account?
Not to look. Browse everything, search by area and date, open any event — no account, no sign-up wall.
You do need a free account to book a seat — an RSVP, as you’ll see it called on the site. That’s so the host has your name for the door rather than the front of your email address.
Getting one takes a minute. Press Sign in at the top of any page, then Create one. It asks for your name, your email and a password — nothing else, no card. You’re signed in straight away; there’s no confirmation email to go and hunt for.
Does it cost anything?
Round The Table is free and there is no paid membership — not now, not later.
Some hosts charge for their own events. That price is always on the listing before you RSVP, and you pay the host directly — by transfer, on the door, or however they ask. The money never comes through us and we take no cut of it.
How do I cancel a seat I’ve booked?
Open the event and press Can’t make it. Please do it rather than just not turning up — most of these rooms have a seat count and somebody else may be waiting.
If you paid the host for a ticket, cancelling here doesn’t refund you. Contact the host; it’s their money and their decision.
What happens to my details?
- The host of an event you book sees your name, company and email. They need it to run the room. They can see it on the guest list for that event, and nothing else about you.
- You can change what they see. Your name and company are yours to correct at any time under Your account, and the change carries to every guest list you are on.
- No other host sees anything. RSVPing to one event does not put you on anybody else’s list.
- We never sell your details and never pass them to advertisers.
- You can leave. Email us and we’ll delete your account and your RSVPs. Every email we send carries an unsubscribe link that works in one click.
The full detail is in our privacy policy.
Can I review an event?
Yes — if you booked a seat, and once it has started. You can’t review a room you weren’t in, which is the point.
Where to do it: go to Your account & past events (top right of any page) and the event will be listed with a box to write in.
I know a group that isn’t listed
Tell us and we’ll approach them. It’s how the directory grows, and a listing that comes from a tip is always free to the organiser. Suggest a group →
