Janice, makes me happy just reading you! Phenomenal! We need to link you to our website…. How do we do that? Leaving for NYC in a few days to dance (Nikolais reunion), so I am not spending too much time looking at your yummie photos, til I get back! xo,S
Happy post Valentine’s Day and (seems like freedom’s in the air doesn’t it?) post Egyptian and Wisconsin revolutions……
I just came across your e-journal after a google search for SF bay area food blogs and felt an immediate connection even though I am not an “active” cook (because of health issues) or a trendy “foodie” but someone who aspires to appreciate life, living well and cultivating gratitude & healing through food and healthy eating.
So needless to say, I was very touched by the previous post about your recent health issues and challenges to physical mobility/vitality because of the dreaded reality of a chronic ailment. Buying the orange tree was not only a sweet, upbeat gesture–but a life-affirming and healing-inspired action. The healing power of nature and our relationship with “it”.
Is the tree blooming yet? I love the fragrance of orange blossoms!
Although they are considered old-fashioned (orange blossoms were so popular in my Grandmother’s day) they can make their presence known and fill the air with delight and romantic fancy.
I am truly looking forward to future posts and wishing you the most powerful of optimism and success with overcoming any obstacles to your healing and well-being.
Good health and spirit,
Ooh what a time you two have been thru. My prayers and blessings are sent to you three.
Have a good fourth of July . We have a burn ban here in Texas. It hasn’t rained in about
three months and hot every day at 100 or more. Love you, Aunt Alice

Hi Patricia! Thanks for stopping by. The tree is indeed blooming, and when the sun shines on the tree, I can inhale that wonderful aroma.
Dear Janice,
This is your Aunt Alice. Jeanie sent us your web site. It is beautiful. Yummy – loved the valentine’s cake picture.
Thanks, Aunt Alice!
