This bread is up next for me, and I've been trying to decide whether or not to order the caramel color. After seeing the loaves you and Phyl produced, I'm putting my order in with King Arthur right now! It's SO beautiful!!!

Of all the marbled rye posts I've read, your bread has the most beautiful and contrasting swirl. What a fantastic job you did!

Hi Ago!
Welcome! Those of us engaged in the Bread Baker's Apprentice Challenge have agreed not to publish Peter's recipes in our blogs. I have, however, found it posted here. Hope that helps! - Janice

Your breads turned out beautifully! I agree, this bread was so much fun to make. Takes me back to my play-doh days.

Kelly - I didn't have to sift my flour because I bought light rye flour. And I loved how your loaves turned out!

Beautiful! I need to get caramel coloring because it makes SUCH a difference! I really liked this one, too, even though my colors were only slightly different and I didn't sift the flour.

Happy baking!
